Thats a way bigger surge it can stand then every other surge protector Ive looked at. This unit is rated at protection up to approx 4000 joules. When you look over the specs,you will see you cant get more for your money. Belkin is a good brand, You must have every single connection to your equip protected and this does that for you.
One for all the electronics I use often (computer, lights, etc)., and one for electronics I charge once a while (cell phone, camera, etc). This allows you to get the most out of every outlet.Other single file outlets don't have space for the large adapters that will end up taking 2-3 precious spaces.I have 2 outlets that I use. This way, it is easy to turn each outlet on and off to save more electricity when the equipments aren't being used. A surge protector will protect your precious computer, as well as help you save electricity by easily turning all electronics off with one touch. I love the Belkin 12-Outlet due to its design that allows you to put large adaptors on the sides.
The one I am using, in addition to the outlets provides protection for phone and DSL lines,coaxial cable, RJ45 port and has Lifetime Warranty.J Butler First, I am not an expert on Surge Protectors but if you have quite a few units to protect this Belkin 12 outlet protector will do the job. All of the makes I looked at provided for the large AC adapters but indoing so they blocked at least one or more outlets,reducing your usable outlets,this one does not.
Good value for the money. And the mixed orientation of the outlets allows those bulky transformers to fit nicely. This power strip has the room to expand. Great for my home office.
It's ground indicator is very strict, as my grounding system is not great and it detects this. This product is perfect for handling a large set of large plugs, due to its spacing.
